Orthopedic Surgery
Orthopedic Surgery is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, surgical treatment and rehabilitation of
injuries and diseases of the body's musculoskeletal system. Some of the procedures are related to arthritis, joint replacement, sports medicine, and surgery to the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, hand, wrist, foot, and ankle. Arthroscopic surgeries are commonly used in the surgical treatments of these joints. Fracture care is also a predominant responsibility of an orthopedic surgeon.
