Roy Bankhead, MD

Roy Warren Bankhead, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.  Dr. Bankhead graduated from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine where he received his degree as a Medical Doctor.  He completed a medical student internship in Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Urological Surgery in Nashville, Tennessee.  He completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in General Surgery and Urology in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dr. Bankhead practices and has staff privileges at Mercy Health Center, Integris Baptist Medical Center, Deaconess Hospital, Saint Anthony Hospital, Park View Hospital (El Reno), Grady Memorial Hospital (Chickasha), Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital (Yukon), Anadarko Municipal Hospital, Edmond Medical Center, and the ESEC Surgery Center.

Dr. Bankhead is a member of the American Medical Association, American Urological Association, Inc., American Urological Association, South Central Section, Inc., The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, Oklahoma State Medical Association, Oklahoma County Medical Society.

Dr. Bankhead practices adult and pediatric urology and performs many minimally invasive procedures utilizing laparoscopic techniques.  He performs cryosurgical treatments for prostate and renal cancers.
